This tells me it may be more solid than average for hunting camps or bigger outings. One person said it rusted a bit when left out in the rain ,well metal does that this means  it is made of metal and should be stored well.

This is all good news this is my pick of the tables I reviewed.

Texsport Compact Kitchen Table Review

It’s compact, folds up relatively small, but unfolds to a nice size. I could highly recommend this table for anyone who camps.

This camp kitchen has served us quite well over the past few years. The design is so compatible for whatever we want to do with it, and it folds up to about the size of a small guitar case.

I use the pole for:
- a paper towel dispenser
- our flag
- our lantern
- solar shower bag for hot dish water
- a separately purchased spice rack

The sink is also great, because it has attachments to go over it for the propane stove or hot food. Beneath the sink, I keep a bucket for draining out the gray water (I needed to pick up a hose for it), and under the counter is the perfect spot for our cooler – in the shade, not to mention the dish drying net. The rack for our barbecue tools is surprisingly sturdy, and there’s plenty of room for adding on more S hooks to hold up other items, like coffee cups and such. And, I also picked up another attachment to hold up garbage bags (we use plastic grocery bags).

Because this camp kitchen is so easy to set up, tear down and tote, I bring it everywhere, even just to barbecue out in the back. Is there nothing this thing can’t do?

Camp Oven the Camp Chef Camping Outdoor Oven gets a solid five star rating at Amazon. With over 40 reviews this  is a well loved product and it sells well also. I know  I should have owned one of these thirty years ago it looks awesome. I could see how the camp oven could have improved our camp cooking . This camp oven has two burners on top with an oven. This camp oven would be great for trailer living where it gets to hot to cook indoors, just hook this up to a 20 pound propane tank and you would be good for a whole summer cooking out side.

Would this camp oven ever be great taking it to the races for a tailgating cook off or what ever outdoor cooking you would want. The best part is you can do your biscuits in the oven and have a more complete meal done at the same time.

I just think how much use I could have gotten out of having one of these at a hunting camp most times a well cooked meal would have been to die for after a few days out hunting. The idea you could have a lot of stuff precooked and just use this camp oven as a warming oven when you need it.  The other good point is if you can keep the cook happy camping is way more fun. If you camp as a family you will have this figured out anyway and know exactly what I am talking about and buy one of these before your next camping trip.

Most we ever had was a three burner propane  stove one of my fishing partners used it worked very well but this Camp Oven would even top that.  I can easily see why the five star rating and all the reviews it gets it is  just an natural addition to your summer camping plan.

“The Camp Chef 2-burner Stove and Oven (in a single unit) appears to be very well made (I bought one in my Amazon order but haven’t used it yet per the following) and this is not a review of the stove itself. Amazon currently shows it as frequently bought with the “Camp Chef HRL replacement hose and regulator, 1 PSI“. The picture of the latter item leads one to believe that it functions as a hose adapter for a common bulk tank of propane (which come in varying sizes). Unfortunately this hose is not made for this model Camp Chef stove. The stove-end will not fit the fitting on the stove nor is a regulator required on the other end since the stove comes with one (known only when one opens the box). I’m returning the hose and I should say that Amazon’s return procedures are quite streamlined.

The regulator that comes with the stove screws onto a stove-fitting through a hole in the back of the stove, and a small one-pound bottle of propane screws into the other side of the regulator. The correct bulk tank hose adapter made by Camp Chef is called “Disposable Bottle Regulator Bulk Tank Hose Adapter” (Camp Chef’s item number is HRDSP) and the stove-end screws into the stove’s regulator in place of the one-pound bottle. Of course there is no regulator on the bulk-propane-tank-end of the hose and that end just screws directly onto the bulk propane tank. As of this writing, Amazon does not sell this hose. One can only speculate as to why the manufacturer didn’t include one with the stove. It would have been much more convenient since I suspect the overwhelming majority of users do not restrict themselves to the one-pound bottles (recognized by the manufacturer since the box has printed on it that a 20 lb tank lasts 50 hours and the 1 lb bottle lasts 7 hours, along with a picture of the correct adapter hose).

Also, the indented hand-holds shown on the sides of the stove in the photo that is currently on Amazon’s site are no longer on the stove as presently manufactured. The stove is portable, but not light and there is no convenient way to pick it up and carry it. I would suggest springing for the carry case (sold by Amazon) if you plan on carrying it a lot. The stove weighs 35 pounds and is approximately 21″wide, 12″deep and 17.5″high. Further, it’s difficult to tell from the current photo, but the parts of the stove that look white are stainless steel. The burners are brass.”

Coleman camping the Coleman pack away picnic table is an awesome looking addition to anyone’s camping gear . The pack away picnic table gets a three star rating and has five reviews at Amazon it looks great. It seems it is advertised on amazon as a larger table than it really is not sure what happened but if I know Amazon it will go good for an exchange. They to are human at Amazon and the box it comes in from Coleman is also marked wrong I heard.

This is a very handy table for strength and ease of setting up people who used the table at trade fairs and for utility purposes liked the Coleman camping table fine.  All reviewers got a lot of comments on how well it was working.  This table also folds up into a great size for storage and traveling. It is heavy enough it does not matter if it gets a bit of weight thrown in the vehicle on top of it with in reason of course.

This would be a great table for new families to use for weekend camping or just trips to the park it is small easy to pack and fits in a small car with ease. The little ones will fit at the table and rarely do they all sit at one time to eat especially when in the outdoors camping.  My wife and I bought those cute little lawn chairs for some of the children and afterwards thought it was a waste of money. The children never used lawn chairs for any length of time and mostly it was just a novelty for us an wasted  cash not to mention time loading and unloading extra camping gear .

I guess buying children’s lawn chairs depends on how active your children are but we had a lot of kids with us and those chairs were used for nothing mostly. The picnic tables would have been a great addition we often took out my wife’s card table until it got wreaked in the rain. It was a  bad idea using the card table I guess but it worked good for a long time.  Diane never said that was a bad idea because of how much easier it was to get the children to sit and eat at their own private dinning table. We just would have loved having a small Coleman portable camping table but we never had known they existed when the children were small. I have always used Coleman camping supplies and come to rely on them.

I was just thinking it would be great to include a small inflatable boat into a fun day on a river park picnic day out with the family . One like this would make the day great for a lot of family’s with out killing their monthly budget. I have found these boats are not the cheap department store models for swimming but are actually made of stronger rubber a that will last a lot better. These rubber boats also have a lot of great safety features included. If you click on the boat photo it takes you to a inflatable boat review website you can check out. I find this inflatable boat really fits with my ideas of Coleman Camping.

Coleman camping table the unit looks to be strong enough built for most camping.  It is rated four stars at Amazon with good reviews. Some say that the sink part is a bit big but once they started  using the sink it is understandable. You will need the size and sturdy construction to make a camp table useful on camping trips.

This table is used quite a lot for car camping because if folds up small enough. The Coleman camping kitchen is heavy enough constructed to pile other camp equipment on top of it when packing. One of the great Coleman kitchen uses is at large outdoor gatherings it is easy to set up and very handy. When using the sink can save on using paper plates. After washing dishes you can just use the drying rack to dry the dishes .

It is a Coleman product so you know it is made to use for a long time . I must have used Coleman lamps and Coleman stoves for a thousand fishing and hunting trips. When I was younger we camped most all summer when we were not working. We always tried to get close to a picnic table to set up a better camp site.

If we had a portable camp table we would not of had to think about this and it would have been way easier. Just to pull into camp and run a clothes line and set up a kitchen and a few tents and ready to have fun the rest of the weekend.

The uses for the Coleman camping table are endless for setting up just a wash and dry at soccer games for little ones would be great. It could really come in handy at large backyard affairs.  The Coleman camp kitchen could set up out side for lawn or deck parties. The idea of having it portable is great for storing it in a shed or carport. The Coleman camping table would really fit all these needs and many more.

“I really like this camp kitchen. It folds up great. It is kind of heavy, but that is because it seems pretty sturdy. I like that I can fit it in the back of my vehicle and still have lots of room for other stuff as well. I can pack bulkier lighter objects on top of it no problem. I like the legs on this set much better than the accordion style legs on other sets, I can store things underneath it much easier. The rack directly under the sink/counter top area will hold pots and pans easily, but trying to store heavy items may bend and warp it a bit. It works well as a drying rack also.

For water I simply hang my solar shower from a tree nearby or from the provided hook (assuming your shower bag isn’t too heavy). The sink easily lifts out for emptying. It’s nice as grey water collection/retention so that you have something to put out the campfire at the end of the day. I also have extra tubs I use for washing & rinsing dishes that I store underneath my sink, they are deeper.

This will work great at the camp site, as well as at any multi-day concert/festival campsites where you usually don’t get a picnic table to work on. Folding Camp Tablethis life time camp table is made of strong plastic construction. The folding camp table is well made it gets a 4.3 star rating on Amazon. It is used as a extra patio table at home and what ever  when the need arises.  It is also a favorite set up for a lot of campers it gets very positive reviews from all owners. The stove rack is also strong and well made. I have always wanted one of the easier to clean camp tables to take out hunting I use a heavy wooden one I made but just the  legs fold and it would not be easy cleaning. Most trips we just made sure I put plastic on it when out camping.

When my family and I were camping we were more concerned about saving money than having light  easy to use equipment. We went out camping most weekends every summer.We  spent days at a lot of different lakes all over British Columbia.

I have even camped for hunting and ice  fishing although it takes a lot more preparation to camp in the snow.  Having a light and easy to work with folding camp table would have been nice in most places.

I remember one winter camp job setting up in a small clearing Sunday after lunch in the middle of nowhere.  Two of us were set down from a helicopter with our power saws gas and oil and all we needed for a weeks stay. We had just three hours to set up before dark  setting up a wall tent with wood heater. We started building beds to get up off the snow.Then  cutting the  wall tent poles,setting the wall tent up. We were about fifty miles to the nearest community. Once we were set up there were no options of getting out of the camp.

You learn fast to split up the work and work safe and fast I had not set this type of camp up before but had camped with a lot less to work with. We got it all done and started cooking just before dark. We had cut enough fire wood to get us through the night and were not planning on staying up to fix a fire all night.

We just made sure we had all the stuff to get the heater lit in the morning. This can be a pain getting up in the dark and trying to get a fire going at about ten degrees. We did it all and got the job done in time we also learned a lot about getting comfortable and enjoying camping.

Having a good time and doing all the right preparation is key to staying and having fun outdoors. Hundreds of people die of hypothermia and freezing to death each winter in Canada we never thought about or worried about that just enjoyed the heck out of our youth. We fished and hunted and camped from the Us border to north of Hyder Alaska in summer and winter. I wonder if that qualifies me as a camper to learn from, the best advice  is your head use it prepare right , prepare to enjoy camping.

When taking your family plan on it like you were doing it all like the cooking washing dishes drying clothes in this way you tend not to forget what others need.  Doing the right planning ensures your partner also has a great camping trip.  I will include one review on the portable camp table just for a good idea how others think:Life time camp table with stove rack

I camp with several large groups of friends 3 or 4 times a year. I do most of the cooking and all of the coffee in the mornings. I have a large double burner that I can blupe/blupe(the sound it makes turned down real low) GUMBO or boil crawfish/shrimp on it. Portable camp table the GSI camp table gets four star rating and has a lot of Amazon reviews. I have been a hunter and camper and spent a lot of weekends camping and this is one of the better ideas I have seen to improve your family camping experience. The best advice I have seen on this particular portable camp table is to set it up previously to going camping then if needed up grade it to your standards.

Testing the product before using it may not seem right to some buyers but most all campers I have met would just do this anyway. I really like the ideas brought forward in the reviews on the GSI portable camp table like changing the fittings to have better water flow and adding a foot pump or setting the system up for a gravity feed.

I would also suggest looking into getting a solar heated water bag for the gravity feed to the sink for some of the longer camping trips. This could also be used as a shower set up if done right. Not right in the kitchen but it is easy to run a hose from a solar water bag. This is a great way to save heating cost and would mean less fuel to heat water and lighter load to pack camping.

The best part of getting a camp trip set up right is the amount of time doing the chores is cut to a minimum and this increases the time to spend doing the sports like hiking or playing out door games.  I have always found it hard to make it easier on the cook when camping especially if there children to attend to also great innovations like the portable camp stove are just one way of starting to set up a camping trip and really enjoy the out doors.

One of the best systems I have used to great effect is to start your supply list a week ahead and post it so all can add to it. Then plan most all meals in advance and just take what is needed instead of the whole house. If you want extra food just plan your snacks as separate package with or instead of meals.More great portable camp table information

Some of the best camping set ups include having a rope to hang clothes out to dry or lots of rope to cut up to set tarps up in case. we always took enough tarps to cover most all the camp for wind or rain protection. This idea saved us many times on many camping trips in most cases the tarps were used and the trip was saved . The other step to plan is fire wood if a camp fire is planed knowing in advance can save a lot of headaches later.

In setting up the portable camp kitchen it is better to discus it with the family and make sure you are with in reach of all needed facility’s like water and out houses ore what ever needs to be considered level tent site. It is always nice to be able to camp in the same site as you eat in a comfortable distance from neighbors.  I will include one of the camper reviews on this folding camp table just to give an idea if you think this product is for you:

“I bought this camp kitchen over the summer and took it on several camping trips with me. It’s fairly easy to set up and take down (I could do it without help) and is very easy to keep clean.
So, after using it a few times, here’s what I’ve found:
Pros:
1. Easy set up and take down.
2. Easy to keep clean.
3. Very convenient for hand and dish washing.
4. Very adjustable- you can put the wire attachment on just about any side of the thing, which is nice because all camp sites are different.
5. Stores nice – I have it in a small coat closet now.
6. Cutting boards included- they double as the stow away sink covers.
7. Has lots of storage capabilities- either under the sink on the wire rack, or hanging on the provided hooks. I also put my paper towel roll on one of the wire legs on top of the sink.
Cons
1. If used a lot in a short period of time, the fresh water will come a little loose and start to leak.
2. Can be unstable if not on the most even of ground. It has little adjusters on the four legs of the table (which is great) but they don’t work very well.
3. The sink basins are a little shallow.

So, overall, I like this kitchen a lot- there are just a few things I would change if I could. I don’t regret buying it, however. It’s now a staple for our leisure camping trips.

I decided to update my review because I was organizing the camping closet and saw this camp kitchen and it reminded me of my review here on Amazon and that I just wanted to tell everyone how much I still love this thing!!

We’ve had it almost three years now and it’s still in near perfect condition. Nothing has broken, nothing has stained, tarnished, rusted – nothing. I am pretty anal about stuff, so it’s been taking care of really well, but it’s still held up to regular camping. I think in the past three years we’ve probably used it close to 20 times.
As I mentioned before, it does tend to leak if you’re pumping the water out quick or a lot in a short period of time. However, simply pushing the hose in farther after it’s been used for the day will help to solve that problem.
All in all, this has been one of the best pieces of camping equipment we’ve ever had! I simply adore the portable camp table.”
